The role
The Council's Transformation Portfolio is predicted on the assumption of successful delivery of the transformation programme and projects, controlled by the Transformation Programme Management Office, and overseen and managed by the Transformation PMO - Senior Business Partner.
This role requires both the skills and experience to be able to effectively support the PMO in the setting of programme and project governance and delivery standards. This role will work with the Transformation Senior Business Partner to ensure the buy-in of all key stakeholders to ensure the success of programme and project management within the Council.
The role is responsible for analysing and reviewing project and programme documentation to ensure delivery standards are met and align with the overall direction and integrity of the Council Plan and intentions for organisational transformation. This role will track status against agreed plans and ensure accuracy, facilitating monthly reporting to the Council’s board structure in line with governance arrangements and work directly to the Transformation Senior Business Partner, Programme and Project leads, Programme Sponsors and Senior Managers to ensure the effective progression and monitoring of programmes and projects within the overall Transformation Programme.
Please note this vacancy is fixed term until 31.07.2026.
